Educating True Nursing Professionals Who Contribute to Humanity, Chung-Ang

Today, the healthcare environment is entering a new turning point amid rapid social change. While advances in technology continue to expand the methods and scope of healthcare, the essence of nursing—understanding and safeguarding human life and dignity—remains at its core. In this era of transformation, nursing education bears the responsibility not only to cultivate the capacity to respond to change, but also to clarify more firmly the values and responsibilities toward humanity.

Grounded in Chung-Ang University’s educational philosophy of “Righteousness and Truth,” our College of Nursing places at the heart of its mission the cultivation of “true nursing professionals who contribute to human society.” “Righteousness” represents respect for life and humanity, along with ethical responsibility, while “Truth” signifies professionalism based on scientific evidence and sincere practice. Through education that harmoniously integrates these two values, we strive to nurture nurses who possess both warm character and professional excellence.

To this end, our College fosters a learning environment in which theory and practice, education and research are closely interconnected. We support our students in developing the ability to comprehensively understand the health needs of individuals and respond responsibly across diverse nursing situations. Within an educational community students, faculty, and staff communicate and collaborate, we continuously reflect on the essence of nursing and work together to shape a future of nursing grounded in human-centered care.

We sincerely ask for your continued interest and support.
