Globalized Nurse

Greetings

A true nursing talent who contributes to human society

Nurses comprise half of the professional health workforce globally, interact with people from birth to death across all types of settings and account for about 90% of contacts between patients and health professionals. They are often the first, and only, point of contact for people with health and care systems. They can deliver safe, high-quality, effective and efficient health services, particularly for vulnerable, disadvantaged and hard-to-reach groups. Enabling nurses to work to their full potential is essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and universal health coverage, and to meeting current and future population health needs.

All members of the College of Nursing, Chung-Ang University are putting forth our best efforts today to fulfill the precious role of nurturing these true nursing talents. Based on the spirit of righteousness and truth, undergraduate graduates, graduates with master's and doctoral degrees have been produced this year as well, with scientific and professionalism and competitive leadership. We are making standards for nursing education that embraces a new paradigm that emphasizes convergence and integration amid the low birthrate and aging population, deepening health inequality, periodic pandemic of infectious diseases, and the complexity of health care service demands. Through open communication and interaction with students, professors, and staff, we aim to continuously develop nursing science research and lead nursing education by constantly suggesting new questions for the future. Please keep your eyes on us with a loving heart. Thank you.
