    김혜진 교수는 2019년 3월부터 중앙대학교 적십자간호대학에서 조교수로 근무하고 있습니다. 2017년 5월 미국 펜실베니아 대학교 간호대학에서 박사학위를 받은 후 미국 에모리 대학교 간호대학 Center for Nursing Excellence in Palliative Care의 박사후 연구원으로서 완화의료(palliative care)에 대한 연구를 해왔습니다. 현재, 장기요양시설과 요양병원에서 생애말기를 보내는 치매노인들이 보다 적절한 간호를 받을 수 있도록, 생애말기치료 관련 의사결정과정을 연구하고 있습니다. 김혜진 교수는 한국과 미국의 중환자 간호부터 장기요양시설 간호, 완화케어에 이르기까지 다양한 임상경험을 가지고 있습니다. 또한, 미국 펜실베니아주 전문간호사(adult & gerontology nurse practitioner)로서 근무한 경험도 있습니다. 이러한 경험을 바탕으로 학생들에게 노인간호학, 성인간호학, 완화의료 관련 과목들을 담당하여 교육하고 있습니다.
